Today,

I'd like to tell you the news that LIPAC participated in ECOC 2022 on 20th Sep in Basel, Switzerland.

 

 

On that day, LIPAC decided to further develop its Biz relationships with numerous global optoelectronics-related companies.

 

Especially, we signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Korea Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI) in ECOC 2022.

This MOU is a complementary agreement between the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute of Korea (ETRI) and LIPAC

 to expand cooperation in the production of silicon photonics and the supply of core parts.

 

 

Through this MOU,

the Korea Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI) supplies some of its core light engine components in the form of silicon photonics,

such as optical devices and electronic devices, to LIPAC.

Also, because Lipac Co., Ltd. is the world's first O-SIP technology holder to implement electronic and optical devices in a single package,

It will accelerate the development of the world's best form of optical engine by combining silicon photonics-based components

supplied by the Korea Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI) with the technology.

 

 

 

Therefore,

through the signing of this MOU,
we sympathized with the need between the two companies to expand the use of Lifac's O-SIP technology.

So, we will strengthen the supply chain of key components of the optical engine,

and continue to provide beneficial long-term cooperation.
