[SMEs/Start-up Grand Prize] LIPAC, 'Ultra-High-Speed ​​Optical Engine' Development..."To become a global semiconductor company"

held the 'The 3rd Korea Small and Medium Business Startup Awards' on the 28th.

LIPAC was nominated as a winner of Innobiz Association President’s Award in the start-up sector.

This event was prepared in pursuit of discovering SMEs, venture companies and startups with promising future and nurturing them as new growth engines of the Korean economy.

 

Ju Yeong-seop, a chairman of the judge committee (special professor at the Graduate School of Engineering, Korea University) said,

“We put innovation and differentiation in technology and business model first as the criteria for this evaluation.

Not only the potential growth of the business and its globalization but also the excellence in terms of ESG (environmental, social, and governance) were important to be nominated.”

 

The awards ceremony was held online as part of social distancing for the prevention of COVID-19.

“I believe in that Korean SMEs and start-ups that are already leading new changes in the global market will also gain various opportunities,” he added.
