David Park, CEO of LIPAC announced that a company is developing a technology for manufacturing the optical engine, a crucial component of the optical transceiver using advanced semiconductor packaging technology.

David Park, CEO at LIPAC Co., Ltd. was featured in the e-terview article at Edaily News addressing the future road map to enter into the global optical engine market in 2022.

In his interview, he emphasized the necessity of new manufacturing technology of the optical engine, a crucial component of optical transceiver, in downsizing and cost reduction perspective, which LIPAC Co., Ltd. is currently determined to develop.

It is expected that company's manufacturing technology based on the Advanced Semiconductor Packaging technology will enable a cost reduction by up to 23% compared to the conventional manufacturing way of optical transceiver.

He said that the company will be able to showcase the 100G optical engine sample in November this year.Accordingly, LIPAC Co., Ltd. aims to begin liaising not only domestic 1st vendors but also international ones at the end of 2020 to generate a handsome sales to survive in the market by 2025.
